Join us at the Artisan's Table, Lismore, for an inspiring afternoon of painting, sipping, and socialising. Enjoy a delicious homemade sweet treat and our signature Elderflower & Rose iced tea while you learn watercolour techniques and capture the unique beauty of Australian native gumnuts.
Once Upon a Paintbrush
Led by an experienced English teacher and passionate artist, these workshops combine storytelling, art, and imagination into a joyful creative experience.
Each week, children learn a new English or literary skill alongside a watercolour technique, using both to create a personalised, hand-made picture book. Over the course of the program, they write, illustrate, and build a beautiful one-of-a-kind book—adding a new page, skill, and idea each session.
Sessions are creative, relaxed, and confidence-building, with gentle guidance, discussion, brain breaks, and plenty of encouragement.
